Palma, Mediterranean coworking hub
Palma attracts over 50,000 digital nomads each year, transforming the island into a destination of choice for remote work. The city now has around fifteen coworking spaces distributed between the historic center, Santa Catalina and the new business district of Son Castelló.
Rates range from €15 to €35 per day depending on location and services included. Downtown spaces, particularly around Plaça Major and Carrer de Sant Miquel, charge slightly higher prices but offer maximum accessibility.
Prime coworking neighborhoods
The Santa Catalina neighborhood concentrates several innovative spaces near the local market and trendy restaurants. These venues focus on a relaxed atmosphere and outdoor terraces, particularly appreciated during the mild winter months.
Passeig del Born and its adjacent streets house more traditional spaces, often installed in renovated historic buildings. Connectivity is excellent with widespread fiber optic and average speeds of 100 Mbps.
Emerging new business zone
Son Castelló is developing rapidly with coworking spaces integrated into new office complexes. These venues offer more space and parking, with daily rates often 20% lower than downtown.

Standard services and equipment
Most Palma coworking spaces include high-speed WiFi access, unlimited coffee and use of common areas in their daily rates. Only 40% offer bookable meeting rooms by the hour, a service charged between €8 and €15 per hour depending on capacity.
Printers and scanners are generally available for €0.10 per black and white page. A few premium spaces include access to soundproof phone booths and secure storage lockers.
Hours and acces

Most coworking spaces are open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays, with reduced hours on weekends. Three downtown spaces offer 24/7 access via electronic badge, a service available only for monthly subscriptions.
Public transport accessibility is optimal from Palma's intermodal station, connected by urban bus lines 1, 2 and 7. The light metro efficiently serves peripheral neighborhoods where new spaces are developing.
Booking and payment
Online booking has become widespread with platforms allowing reservations up to 30 minutes before arrival. Credit card payment is accepted everywhere, while 70% of spaces also accept instant transfers and PayPal.
Cancellation policies vary: free cancellation up to 2 hours before arrival for 60% of spaces, until the day before for others. Some venues apply €5 cancellation fees for late withdrawals.
