Terms and Conditions

1. Service overview

workin.space (hereinafter "the Platform") is a service published by BEEFAIR, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of €2,500, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 824 217 541, with its registered office at 1 rue de Stockholm, 75008 Paris, France.

By accessing the Platform or making a booking, the User unreservedly accepts these general terms and conditions of sale.

2. Definitions

• Platform : The website book.workin.space and any associated application.
• User : Any natural or legal person using the Platform to search for or book a workspace.
• Partner : The centre, operator or owner of the workspace offered on the Platform.
• Booking : The User's contractual commitment for the use of a space on a specific date, time slot and conditions.
• Quote : A non-binding price proposal, valid for a limited period, which can be converted into a booking.

3. User account

Creating an account is required to make a booking. The User undertakes to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.

workin.space reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in the event of non-compliant or fraudulent use.

4. Bookings and quotes

4.1 Booking process

The User selects a space, a date, a duration and any optional extras. The booking is confirmed after online payment. A confirmation email is sent to the User.

4.2 Quotes

The User may request a free quote. The quote is valid for 7 days and can be converted into a booking with one click. Price and availability may vary upon conversion.

4.3 Multi-day bookings

The Platform allows booking a space over multiple consecutive days. Each day constitutes an individual booking with its own conditions.

5. Role of workin.space

workin.space acts as an intermediary between the User and Partners. The Platform facilitates matchmaking, booking and payment.

Each Partner is solely responsible for their space, equipment and fulfilment of their commitments to the User.

6. Pricing and payment

6.1 Prices

Prices displayed on the Platform are shown excluding and including taxes. They are set by each Partner and may change without notice.

6.2 Currency conversion

The Platform offers an indicative currency conversion tool. Converted amounts are provided for information purposes and may differ from the amount actually charged by your bank.

6.3 Payment

Payment is made online by credit card at the time of booking. The transaction is secured through our payment provider. The amount is charged after booking confirmation.

7. Cancellation and refund

Cancellation conditions vary depending on the Partner and type of space booked. Applicable conditions are displayed before booking confirmation. As a general rule:

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the booking date (subject to Partner policy)
• Cancellation within 48 hours of the booking: cancellation fees may apply
• No-show: no refund

In the event of a refund, it will be made to the payment method used at the time of booking, within 5 to 10 business days.

8. Additional services (extras)

Additional services (catering, audiovisual equipment, etc.) may be added at the time of booking or modified up to 72 hours before the scheduled date. Any modification will result in an updated invoice.

9. User's obligations

The User undertakes to:

• Use the booked space in accordance with its intended purpose and in compliance with the centre's internal rules
• Not sublet or transfer their booking to a third party without prior agreement
• Respect the booking schedule
• Not use the Platform for unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to public order
• Report any problem or malfunction encountered in the booked space

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Platform (texts, images, logos, trademarks, software) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior written authorisation from workin.space.

11. Personal data

BEEFAIR collects and processes the User's personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is used for booking management, invoicing and communication.

12. Limitation of liability

workin.space makes every effort to ensure the availability and proper functioning of the Platform. However, workin.space cannot be held liable for:

• A temporary interruption of the service for maintenance or updates
• The quality of spaces and services provided by Partners
• Indirect damages resulting from the use of the Platform
• Force majeure events

workin.space's liability is limited to the amount of the commission received on the booking concerned.

13. Eligibility

Use of the Platform is reserved for adults with legal capacity to contract. By placing a booking, the User declares that they meet these conditions.

14. Amendment of conditions

workin.space reserves the right to amend these conditions at any time. The applicable conditions are those in force at the time of booking.

15. Applicable law and disputes

These conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
